We pride ourselves on expiencied staff which look carefully at the individual child and consider needs, interests and stages of development.  We will use this information to plan a challenging and exciting environment for them, so that they make progress throughout their time with us.  We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).  This has been produced by the government and early year professionals for use by all early years providers.  It is for children from birth to the end of the academic year in which they are five.  This recognised stage is a distinct area of their learning.  There are seven areas that are covered.. Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Physical Development, Communication and Language, Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding of the World and Expressive Arts and Design.

We are open Monday and Tuesday 09:15a.m.  - 14:45p.m.  and Wednesday - Friday 09:5a.m. - 12:15p.m.  with an optional lunch club from 12:15p.m. until 13:00p.m. for a small additional fee.

Staple Short Mat Bowls Club:

Staple Short Mat Bowls Club (SSMBC) are looking for new members and would be delighted if you would come and join us.  It's not difficult to pick up and, despite the image, bowls is not just for the ancient ones.  We are young at heart and very easy going and happy to meet new faces.  The first couple of evenins are free if you've never tried this before and we have bowls ('woods') at the club for anyone to use so you don't need any equipment to try it out, just aomfy pair of socks to start with.  There is also tuition available.  It's fun, addictive, social and a tiny bit active.  You also get a cup of tea, or coffee, and a biscuit half way through the evening.  If you are interested in giving it a go, lifts can be arranged.  Contact Brenda Baker on 01304-813537 and hopefully we'll see you there.
